The Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most impressive cave temple complexes in Sri Lanka. Dating back over 2,000 years, this sacred site consists of five caves that house over 150 Buddha statues and stunning murals covering an area of 2,100 square meters.
